Super 8 Motel- Abingdon

The gentleman at the front desk was nice enough, but the hotel in general was in poor condition. Even for a smoker, the smell of cigarette smoke, even in the lobby, was overpowering.

Room was paid for and then sold to someone else I did not stay at this motel.

I had to complain several times about people meeting on a picnic table outside of the handicapped room where my mother and I were staying. She did not sleep most of the first nights because there were people meeting outside on a picnic (right outside of the room) and talking as loud as possible. The employees were smoking on breaks at the picnic table so when we went in and out of our room we were covered in smoke. This hotel was not bad for the cost.

The people were nice, with a decent continental breakfast. However, there were some quality issues with cleanliness and damages to the walls, carpet, etc.
